Slab shaping is a technique that consists in the manipulation of a clay slab of homogeneous thickness.

Its applications are many, from the creation of a cup, a vase with geometric shapes or a spice container or decorated dish. During the workshop, a brief introduction to the technique will be made and works created with the slab technique will be shown, in order to provide the student with greater awareness of the possible variations of the technique.

The workshop is suitable for both those who begin to take their first steps in the world of clay and for those who have already had experience. During the workshop you will be provided with all the materials and equipment useful for processing. including clay for the creation of the work.

The cost does not include the firing of objects produced.

The course will take place on Saturday 27 May at the laboratory located in Via Galvani from 2.30 to 5.30 pm.
