Join us for a fascinating ceramics experience, where you will have the opportunity to make a unique teapot using the slab technique. During the workshop, you will learn the fundamentals of this technique, which involves using slabs of clay that are rolled out and shaped to create shapes and structures.

You will explore the process of preparing the clay, rolling out the slabs and working them to obtain the desired shape of the teapot. You will discover how to combine creativity and precision to make a functional and decorative object.

In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to:

• Learn the basic techniques of kneading the clay and rolling out the slabs.

• Create and assemble the different parts of the teapot (body, handle, spout and lid).

• Learn how to finish and decorate the teapot, using various artistic tools and techniques.

• Get an overview of how to fire the ceramic and, take your work home once the firing process is complete.

No previous experience in ceramics is necessary, just the desire to explore your creativity and learn something new. At the end of the workshop, you will have the satisfaction of having created a handmade ceramic teapot, ready to be used or displayed as a unique piece.
